Some of my best memories as a kid were fishing offshore of St. Petersburg with my uncles. Though I caught a lot of really big fish with them, it really didn’t matter what it was just as long as we were catching fish and having fun. Years later, now that I’m a father, I cherish the opportunity to fish with my own family, and to charter family fishing trips.

Having young ones on my boat makes for some of my most favorite fishing charters. They don’t want to just get on the boat, cast out a bait, and reel in a fish. They want to know every detail about the fishing trip, which I love. Keep those questions coming and I’ll answer everyone the best I can and if I don’t know the answer, I’ll make sure I come up with a good story. It never gets old seeing children’s faces light up when they pull in their biggest fish ever or sometimes even their first fish ever.
