This part of Florida’s coast becomes the epicenter of Tarpon fishing during the annual migration. Between May and lasting all the way through to the end of October Tarpon swarm St. Pete’s inshore waters and beach fronts. While peak season is considered to be between June and July, there is ample opportunity to go after the Silver King, chasing down schools of baitfish, through most of the migration.
Tarpon range in size from 10lbs to over 200 lbs and are ready to put up a battle. These are hard fighting fish with a mouth like armor that makes for both a challenge and action-packed excitement.
Get to know what battling The Silver King is all about with an area pro. Captain Kevin has been targeting tarpon in St. Pete for many years and is known to get on some monsters. If you think you’re ready to “Bow to the King” and battle one of these silver monsters, Non Stop Fishing Charters has the knowledge and experience to get you there!
